This piece comes from ancient Rome. It is dated to the dynasty of Constantine. Emperor Constantine became famous for proclaiming Christianity as the state religion of Rome. This piece was once owned by a true Roman, very long ago.


The piece comes with a certificate of authenticity, certified by Robin L. Danziger of the American Numismatist Association

The coin in the picture is the exact coin you will receive. The ceremonial headdress and beads indicate this coin came from the Eastern Roman Empire. The reverse depicts the Emperor holding his spear while resting his hand on his shield.
